Applicable standards:

GB/T 24278: This standard specifies the test methods and requirements for impact wear resistance for motorcyclists' protective clothing.

EN 13595-1: European standard, also for protective clothing for motorcyclists, details the testing procedure for impact wear resistance.


Main parameters:

Test speed: Usually adjustable in the range of 0-10m/s, typical application speed of 8m/s. This parameter simulates the impact speed that the protective clothing may be subjected to in actual use.

Sand belt hardness: Generally OP60, this is the hardness level of the sand belt, used to simulate the wear surface of different hardness.

Pressure range: adjustable, typical application pressure is 49N. This parameter simulates the pressure that the protective clothing may be subjected to upon impact.

Fall height: usually adjustable in the range of 0-100mm, typical application height of 50mm. The height of the falling body determines the impact energy.

Friction area: Generally 1963mm², which is the size of the area where the test sample is in contact with the sand belt.

Power: Typically 2.5KW (or 2500W), this is the operating power of the tester to ensure stable operation of the device.

Sand belt material: generally alumina, alumina sand belt has wear resistance, high temperature resistance and other characteristics, suitable for simulating a variety of wear environment.

Test plane size: about 40mm, which is the size of the contact plane between the test sample and the sand belt.

Equipment size: generally 180012001500mm (length, width and height), which is the overall size of the tester, easy for users to choose according to the space of the laboratory or test site.

Display mode: Touch screen display is generally used, which is convenient for users to set parameters, view test results and operate equipment.
