CBplus単兵システムはカナダ国防研究開発部から委託されている。マネキンシステムの2つ目のバージョンは、オーストラリアのDSTグループの要件に基づいて製造および調整されたものです。このシステムは、化学的および生物的防護服およびヘルメットをテストするための人体モデルと上半身頭部から構成されている。

マネキンはフルサイズ、ヒンジされた炭素複合材料の身体形態であり、正確な人体測定データを生成することができる。軽量で化学腐食に強く、一連の指定された運動プロトコルを実行することができます。唯一の支え方は、踏み板に縛られた手、顔、足です。

マネキンは外部駆動フレームに取り付けられている。脚駆動フレームは外部アクチュエータを支持し、10個の運動軸を提供する。人体模型の内部には2つの軽量なアクチュエータが設置され、交感神経の頭部運動を生成している。このシステムは化学的に劣悪な環境で6時間までの試験シーケンスを実行することができ、10個の事前プログラミング動作の任意の組み合わせを含む。

上半身とマネキンには柔らかく、化学腐食に強いエラストマー皮膚があり、マネキンの頭部、首、腕、腰全体を覆っている。この材料はi-bodiがこの用途に特化して開発した。また、テスト要求に応じて、代替品として低コストで高柔軟性の使い捨てシリカゲル皮革が開発されている。人体モデルと上半身頭部の形態の室内線量計ステントは、試験服の完全性を評価するために必要なデータを収集する。
