The Fabric Coolness Tester is designed to evaluate the contact coolness sensation of textiles by measuring the contact coolness index (qmax, peak heat flux). By simulating the sensation of human touch, it quantifies the heat transfer from skin to fabric, allowing objective assessment of fabrics with cooling properties. It is suitable for summer clothing, underwear, cooling patches, mattresses, and other skin-contact materials. The instrument can also measure thermal conductivity and thermal insulation, supporting both dry and wet measurement methods.

(1) Place the fabric sample on the hot plate or measurement platform.
(2) Select the desired test mode: dry or wet.
(3) Configure test parameters, including number of measurement cycles and target temperature.
(4) Start the test; the instrument automatically performs continuous measurements.
(5) Observe the qmax value and thermal performance data on the touch screen.
(6) Export data to a PC for further analysis, if required.
(7) Repeat test cycles for multiple samples to ensure reproducibility.
