This test is in accordance with ISO6942 and EN366 standards of design and manufacturing. This tester fully compliant to test requirements and received US and European customers' acception; The device has a user-friendly, intuitive, Windows-based application that provides a complete thermal control, fault detection and data recording. RPP system configuration and burn prediction also included in the ThermDAC.

User-defined test allows the operator to define a non-standard test conditions and custom tolerances. You can view multiple graphs display with zoom feature to view specific conditions in details. Real-time statistics can be applied to the test data within any user selected time range.

This tester used for performance evaluation against heat and flame protective clothing when faced with short flame thermal motion.Imposed a certain calorie density (80KW/m ² ± 5%) of heat, under the specimens that composed of protective clothing. When measuring the growth rate of heat through over time (time: seconds, temperature: ºC) by heat meter that installed on test sample, to determine the insulation properties of sample materials.This apparatus is applied to measuring the fabric of single-layer or multi-layer under high temperature thermal radiation properties, can also be used for other fire-retardant insulation of plates.

Application

The RPP device is suitable for testing protective fabrics, multi-layer garments, and fire-retardant plates used in industries such as firefighting, military, chemical processing, industrial safety, and emergency response. It evaluates the thermal insulation and heat resistance of materials subjected to radiant heat, aiding in product development, certification, and quality control. The system can accommodate both standard and user-defined test conditions with flexible tolerances.

15, According to ISO 6942-2002 (EN366) standards, there are two methods to test the thermal protection;

16, The first method (A method) is a specimen to withstand a certain amount of heat radiation, recording changes in appearance in order to reproduce the material the inclement conditions .

17, The second method (B method) is a calorimeter inside a specimen back, when heat conduction from samples back, recording temperature trends over time, in order to determine the level of thermal radiation transfer.

Operation and Maintenance

(1) Secure the specimen in the clamping device and select the desired test method (A or B).
(2) Set heat flux, test duration, and optional user-defined tolerances via the software interface.
(3) Start the test; the system automatically controls thermal radiation, collects data, and displays real-time temperature curves.
(4) Cooling water system ensures stability and safety; alarms indicate any deviations in temperature.
(5) After the test, remove the specimen, review recorded data, and export results for analysis.
(6) Regular maintenance includes cleaning the frame, checking lamp performance, verifying thermocouples, and ensuring circulation pump operation.
